You will begin your wine journey in the village of Ampuis, cradle of Côte-Rôtie AOC. You will see the steep hillsides of one of the oldest vineyards in France and begin to understand how these vines have a perfect sun exposition and you’ll learn about the very rich and diversified terroir. You will immediately be seduced by the magnificent view over the Rhône Valley spreading south into the heart of the Saint Joseph appellation in the distance !
You will then be heading south to the Condrieu wine area, famous for its white wines. You will enjoy the intense aromatic Viognier, right where it is commonly regarded that viognier is best expressed and you’ll have another chance to taste the fruity and silky taste of the Syrah grape of the Northern Côtes du Rhône in their original terroir.
